A blue textile art picture in an embroidery hoop frame.
Delicate bluebells cut from hand dyed silk sit on a background of vintage and new fabric offcuts in a delicate shades of ecru. Attached to a calico background and placed into a bamboo hoop finished with a green bow for hanging.
The background is made up of vintage lace, calico, muslim and floral fabric all hand stitched onto the calico background. The bluebells have been cut from hand dyed silk and delicately stitched onto the fabric background. Hand embroidered stem and chiffon leaves complete the picture. All hand stitched.
The hoop measures 5 ins in diameter.

An all wool picture of snowdrops on hand dyed blues linen cotton mix fabric..
Small amounts of unspun sheep's wool have been gently stabbed with a sharp needle onto the fabric too produce this piece of art work.
The fabric is a shades of blue . Dark blue wool fabric covers the reverse. A green chiffon ribbon makes a lovely hanger.
The hoop measures 16 cm in diameter.
I use mainly recycled packaging.
