I have had the idea for this lamp for a while, with a roll end of microbore heating pipe and a length of ¾” copper pipe rescued from the loft prompting me, I’ve finally got around to building it!

Full description
Set the mood in your home with this stylish, one-of-a-kind, floor lamp made from repurposed copper pipework with bespoke brass fittings which I made specifically for this lamp, all standing on a reclaimed wood base.
All electrical parts are brand new; over two metres of luxury black fabric braided flex supply the power, from a British Standard 3 amp fused plug, through a black inline foot switch to four brass plated SES lampholders fitted with four very economical 2-Watt squirrel cage candle LED bulbs, selected for their decorative warm light which reflects from the polished copper beautifully. The base is reclaimed floor joist, planed, sanded, stained to darken it and French polished to give it a beautiful, non-sticky, sheen.
All joints in the copper pipework are soldered in the traditional way (no cheating with glue here at Steampunk Creative Engineering!) so there may be some surplus solder around the joints
