Scandi gnome tote bag with flowers. This lovely tote bag is made from pale blue fabric and has a cute appliqué Scandi gnome, surrounded by button flowers. The Scandi gnome, Tomte or gonk, has a hat of tweed-like fabric with a checked pattern in shades of burgundy, cream and pale green. The hat is trimmed with a pale blue flower-shaped button. The gonk’s outfit is made of dusky pink fabric with white polka dots. His beard is made from lovely white velvety fabric with a textured pattern. His nose is made from a cute peach felt ball. Around the gnome, I’ve added white and pale pink flower-shaped buttons with zesty green hand-embroidered stems and leaves. The bag is lined with dusky pink crinkled satin-like fabric.
This fun tote bag, with its cute gonk and button flowers, would make a lovely gift, particularly for anyone who loves gnomes.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (35cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
