I’ve created a range of art pieces of lots of different animals including Wildlife and farm animals from the countryside where I live.
The challenge is creating these characters in this medium which is as much about what details to leave out as the details that are put in. Great fun to make.

Full description
A wonderful carving of a cow with calf! This picture is carved onto a piece of recycled slate. It is provided with the display easel which is included in the price. I was so pleased with the result of this one-off carving.
It is hand carved using traditional methods with hammer and chisel.
It is made using reclaimed slate - hence the rough looking edges and patina/marks. All items are original one-off pieces.
