I studied art at University many years ago following which I have worked as a builder and stone mason. I now combine art and my many years of stone carving to produce these individual art designs.
All my items are hand carved using traditional methods with hammer and chisel so each design is unique.
I use reclaimed slate and stone retrieved from builder’s yards and unwanted stone from a local quarry so each piece is uneven and misshapen as found.
I love that I can take an unwanted piece of material of whatever shape and create a unique piece of artwork.
