I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £257.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £237.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 8/11/24.

Full description
This pretty beadwoven necklace is made from Shiny silver-lined green bugle and seed beads. Thin lines of beads in blue/green and in gold provide an accent. The design is fairly lightweight, despite its chunky appearance, because the necklace is hollow inside. I have stitched the necklace using a pattern called a Russian Spiral. I use seed beads of high quality: Miyuki and Toho. The bugle beads give the necklace flexibility. I have used 10lb Fireline braided beading thread to make the piece as robust as possible. The necklace is finished with a gold plated toggle clasp but I could change this to a different type of clasp at your request. This may cost a little extra, so please contact me before purchasing if you would like this option.
The necklace is 45cms (17.7ins) long and about 0.9cm (0.4ins) in diameter.
Despite it being strongly made, please note that the bugle beads used in this necklace can be very sharp if they get broken, so it is advised to keep this piece away from young children or situations where it could get crushed.
The necklace will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and posted in a sturdy cardboard box for safe travel.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £8 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
