I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

This oblong pendant has a super sparkly piece of fordite which has been bezel set in sterling silver and finished with a simple loop bail. The fordite has a pattern of concentric rings in shades of grey, silver, blue, black and red. The setting is open backed so you can see the very different pattern on the reverse, it is much more flat grey with fine rings of colour (the grey is primer). The colour palette is fairly unisex so this would suit anyone. The pendant measures approx 48mm (inc bail) by 19mm, it comes complete with an 18 inch silver chain but could easily be swapped onto a leather cord.
So what is fordite - its layers of cured car paint that built up in the spray booths at car plants, careful cutting and polishing can show up the many coloured layers. I bought the rough this was cut from direct from a guy who worked at Ford's Wayne Assembly plant and this was formed when they were making Cmax and Focus cars (2014-2018). The method for painting cars has changed so rough fordite is only formed in smaller quantities and is increasingly difficult to get hold of so if you are a fan of cars (or looking for a gift for a petrol head) I'd get some quick.
