Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I love to find these folk art inspired textiles, with their pretty cross stitch designs. This one came from York car boot last summer, and after some tlc, there was enough fabric to make a set of these practical little purses.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This sweet little make up bag or purse is made from a pretty piece of vintage cross stitch embroidery. It has a lovely Folk art feel to it with its geometric roses and flowers. The back is made from a remnant of embroidered vintage table linen. Great for storing ear buds, headphones, make up or cash, these little bags are pretty as well as practical. It would make a lovely present for someone who likes folk art, as a going to uni present, or as a purse to take to a wedding.
The embroidery has been backed onto cotton. The front and back are sections from two different tableclotths.
It is 16 cm wide with a 16 cm red zip. The length is 12 cm.
The lining is a vintage floral cotton, and there is a finger hook so you can display it somewhere nice at home. The bag is finished with my own embroidered name tape.
Please wash on a cool, short cycle, and dry naturally.
Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging from my stash, and and sent as RM 2nd class.
