I wanted this necklace to be suitable for anyone to wear.
The beads I have selected are in muted colours, but Leopardskin Jasper has fascinating patterns, and swirls of different colours that make the beads very interesting and tactile, and the Onyx complements without overpowering.
The little bone elephant has been in my bead box for many years, and deserves a new home.
I believe it to be carved from cow bone.

Full description
A carved bone elephant pendant measuring 18x20mm is the focal point of this unisex choker-style necklace.
The elephant sits between a pair of 4mm golden hematite beads and a row of Gold Lip shell heishi beads.
The remainder of the necklace is made up of 6mm frosted black Onyx and 6mm Leopardskin Jasper, brightened by the occasional 4mm golden hematite.
I have finished the necklace with a gold plated lobster clasp and a large gold plated ring for easier fastening.
The necklace measures approximately 17 inches (43cm), and is designed to be choker-style on the average man, or sit on the collarbone of the average woman.
Perfect gift idea for anniversary, birthday, Father's Day.
