Aventurine is a form of Chalcedony, a compact and microcrystalline Quartz.
Other well-known gemstones belonging to this group include Agate, Jasper and Onyx.
Green Aventurine, like most green stones, is thought to bring inner peace, tranquility and enhance self-esteem.
It is sometimes called the the Stone of Luck, or the Gambler's stone, as it is believed that carrying a piece of Aventurine in the left pocket will attract wealth and good fortune.

Pretty, dainty bracelet featuring 4mm beads of smooth and frosted green Aventurine, New Jade and pale peach Mashan Jade.
I have added some 3mm Swarovski crystal 'light peach' bicones and 4mm Tibetan-style stardust beads for sparkle and shine.
The Tibetan-style beads are nickel and lead free.
The green Aventurine beads are a lovely sage green colour, the Mashan Jade beads (the trade name for dolomite Marble) are a very pale peach colour, a shade lighter than the Swarovski crystals, and the New Jade beads (actually a type of Serpentine) are a very pale 'celery heart' green.
This bracelet measures approximately 6.75 inches (17cm).
Presented in a small organza gift bag.
