I had several of these little copper stars, I used some to make a necklace but I need to remake it as it really didn't work, I used up some random bits of wire that I had in my silver scraps box to make what I hoped would be a spiral, quite like the half moon arc that resulted instead. It's always difficult making a matching pair, this is as close as these things ever get!

Full description
Small copper stars with silver wire fused to their surfaces, this silver wire is re-used from a previous proeject. The wire forms an arc across a large part of the star. Where the silver melts it leaves 'puddles' of silver which are unpredictable, so the earrings are not entirely identical. The stars are slightly eccentric in shape which adds to their charm.
A tiny hole is drilled into one point and the stars are hung by a copper jump ring from hand made sterling silver ear wires.
A unique gift for a star gazer, there will never be another pair exactly like these.
