Part of my fused silver and copper series, trying different ways to lay a simple line of silver across a copper disc, sometimes the silver spreads a long way as it fuses, which is has in this case. Always a surprise usually a good one.

Full description
Copper disc with silver wire fused across it in a curve, where the wire fuses it has melted either side to give a fascinating patterned and textured surface.
Reheating the copper after cleaning gives an attractive patina to the exposed copper.
The disc is slightly domed.
It hangs from a reused sterling silver box chain. The disc measures 2.5cm across and the chain is 45cm.
Suitable for anyone as these are fairly unisex in design.
