I had several short lengths of silver wire and fragments of silver, that were left from trying to make other things. I laid them on this copper disc, hoping to repeat a spiralling effect I had made before. The silver had other ideas and produced this fascinating art nouveau style jelly fish effect. I actually love it.

Full description
A disc of copper, 29mm across, with short sections of silver wire, laid in a spiral arrangement and fused to the copper by metling it. After I had cleaned the piece I found that the spiral had turned into something that reminded me of a jellyfish. This is common with this technique as the silver melts unpredictably very often. The pendant is very slightly domed and then hung, by a copper jumpring, from a fine, natural, leather thong.
