Full description
Four seasons tree tote bag. A lovely tote bag made from sturdy pale blue-grey upholstery fabric with a delightful appliqué and hand embroidered design depicting a tree during all four seasons. The tree is made from brown felt and each quarter represents a different season. The winter quarter has snow made from white felt and hand embroidered French knot snowflakes. The spring quarter has foliage made from circles of print fabric in shades of pink and cream, around which I've added pink French knots as blossom. The summer foliage fabric circles are sage green and cream print and I've added a cute yellow and green wooden bird button. The autumn foliage fabric circles are yellow, golden-yellow and terracotta print and I've added small falling leaves made from russet, orange and golden-yellow felt, with hand embroidered detailing. The bag is lined with pale taupe fabric with a print pattern of white criss-crossing lines.
This is a strong and versatile bag. With its delightful four seasons design it would make a lovely gift, particularly for someone who loves nature.
The measurements of the tote bag are approx. 14 inches (35cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
