Full description
Mice on a mushroom tote bag. This delightful tote bag is made from sturdy blue fabric with an appliqué and hand-embroidered design. The design depicts two kissing mice sitting on a mushroom surrounded by smaller mushrooms and flowers. The mice are made from golden beige velvety fabric. They have pink felt ears edged with hand-embroidered blanket stitch. I've also hand-embroidered their tails and closed eyes. Their noses are black sequins. The lady mouse has a small green wooden button flower in front of one of her ears. They are sitting on a large mushroom made from cream fabric with dusky pink polka dots. The mushroom has a cream striped stem. There are lots of smaller mushrooms made from dusky pink felt with white sequin spots. Their cream felt stems are edged with hand-embroidered blanket stitch. There are clusters of felt flowers in pink and pale blue which I've hand-embroidered in place with lazy-daisy stitch. I've also embroidered some zesty green leaves. The bag is lined with pale gold satin with a woven pattern of tiny diamonds.
This cute tote bag, with its adorable little mice and delightful mushrooms and flowers scene, would make a lovely gift.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or hand-carried.
