Full description
Mushrooms and floral cushion. A rectangular cushion in pale duck-egg blue fabric with a delightful appliqué and hand embroidered scene featuring mushrooms, grass and flowers. The two mushrooms are made from red fabric with a ribbed texture and have stems of creamy beige. I've added white sequins for the spots. In front of the mushrooms are blades of grass made from sage green fabric. I've added a number of pale blue hand-cut felt flowers which I've hand embroidered in place with pale blue lazy daisies with a yellow French knot at the centre. To one side of the mushrooms is a spire of flowers made from mottled golden-yellow fabric to which I've added ochre French knots as stamens. The stem is hand embroidered and the leaves are dark green velvet. To the other side of the mushrooms is a cluster of flowers made from purple print fabric, to which I've added purple button centres. The stems are hand embroidered and the leaves are blue-green velvet. The cushion cover has a concealed zip along the bottom, and includes a polyester hollow fibre cushion pad which conforms to safety regulations.
This pretty cushion would be the perfect accessory for any sofa. With its delightful scene, it would make a lovely gift, particularly for anyone who loves mushrooms.

20 inches (51cm) wide x 14 inches (35cm) high.
