INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. A beautiful hand embroidered cupcake style pincushion, unique design pin cushion created by Bearlescent.
This listing is for a beautiful hand embroidered cupcake style pincushion
Hand sewn onto natural silk noil fabric, I have used a deep purple and dark teal with soft pink colourway and hand sewn a flower design using various stitches.
Firmly filled to prevent needles going astray inside the pincushion and a triple layer of fabric to ensure years of use.
The hand embroidered piece was laced over a form which I made from cotton fabric. Filled with super polyester filling and laced and shaped to fit a 4" diameter natural wooden bowl.
Finished with natural crochet lace and a purple ribbon bow.
I have further enhanced this pincushion with mill hill seed beads in colours to match the stitching, some lovely purple mix metallic and blue/green matte beads.
This is a unique item, designed and created by myself, it would make a beautiful hand made gift for someone creative who loves to sew or a decorative piece for a craft room. I have made many pincushions for keen sewers and for gifts but have also had orders from those who use them purely as a decorative item. I have even made them for bear collectors to use as huge muffinsmir birthday cakes for their bear collections.
This will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class and will require a signature upon delivery.
