INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. A unique hand embroidered pin cushion created and designed by Bearlescent
This listing is for a cupcake style unique pin cushion in lovely teal blues.
Measures approx 3.75" diameter.
Completely hand sewn onto natural silk noil.
I have used a winter colourway of teal blues and greens, paler blues, naturals and pinks, a hand embroidered floral design using various threads and stitches sewn across one side of the top of the fabric.
Filled very firmly with super polyester filling, a cotton form was made then the embroidered silk complete with a cotton backing was laced over the form as tightly as possible to minimise creasing around the gathered fabric.
Fitted to a 3.75" natural beech wooden bowl then decorated with crochet lace and a satin rolled ribbon tied into a small bow.
My pincushions have 3 layers of fabric to ensure a longevity.
Made for the crafter, someone who loves to sew, this would make a beautiful unique keepsake gift.
