Full description
Pretty hand-embroidered sampler combined with patchwork scraps to make a unique cushion cover. Little people and ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed ’ decorate this sampler.
The cover is backed in spotty cotton and fastens with a zip in the bottom seam.
I found this sampler at a local market, someone had spent hours embroidering it and it seemed a shame it wasn’t being displayed and appreciated. I always have lots of fabric scraps waiting for a project and a mix of colours work well with the colourful embroidery threads. This cover is just right for a 16” (40cm) square filler.
Can be carefully washed at 30 degrees.
