Save yourself a job and ask me to send a gift direct to the recipient - just add gift wrapping to your basket. I’ll wrap it in pretty paper and send it on its way with a handwritten note.

I have loved fabric and sewing for as long as I can remember, cutting up my Dad's old shirts to make clothes for my Sindy doll. These days I love searching local markets and sales, for vintage fabric and textiles to repurpose, ready to create something new and unique.
I live in Norfolk with my husband, sons and a cat and I like nothing better than to escape to my sewing machine or hunt out the bargains at my local market!

Both the pouch and the glasses case are not only lovely but also very well finished, they were part of a Christmas gift, but I decided to keep the glasses case for myself. Thank you Mel!

Came across the Folksy website by chance. Was looking for a small pouch to go with my newly commissioned handbag which was made out of reused denim and other designer fabrics. Mel's bright yellow pouch was in keeping with my new handbag and it was the right price point too. Arrived within a week - mainly due to how the post works round me. Woudl recommend and will use the website again no doubt.
