A fellow Folksy seller kindly gave me some great pieces of vintage fabrics from her collection. I thought this pair of patterns with their folk art style would marry up well together, and breathe new life into them for a little longer.

Full description
This sweet lavender bag is made from two lovely vintage embroidered fabrics, both with a Folk Art style. The front is from an vintage table cloth, and the back is a section from an old table napkin. Beautifully worked little flowers, with a gently faded and softly washed feel. Inside is nestling a little bag of dried lavender from North Yorkshire. Pop them in a drawer for sweet smelling clothes, or under your pillow for healthy sleep. This little bag would make a lovely present for someone learning to embroider, for a fan of vintage textiles, or as a present for Mum.
The bag measures 10cm by 10cm and inside is nestling a muslin bag of dried Yorkshire lavender.
The front is a yellow floral design in a tapestry stitch style, and the back is a little spray of sun flowers.
There is a hook for a clothes hanger, or to hang up as a tiny piece of art work in its own right. It is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse, your little bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
