I love to find ways to reuse these sweet little hand sewn embroideries, and lavender bags are the perfect way to use up those tiny sections which are not too care worn or damaged.

Full description
This pretty floral lavender bag is made from the corner of a hand embroidered vintage tray cloth. It has a little green wreath stitched in the centre, which is surrounded by a circle of sweet wild flowers. Inside is nestling a little muslin bag filled with lavender from Terrington in North Yorkshire. Lavender is an ancient remedy for helping healthy sleep, and a natural way to keep away those pesky moths. Pop it in a drawer for sweet smelling clothes. This would make a lovely present for a new bride storing her wedding dress, for a vintage fabric lover, or perhaps for someone just starting to learn to embroider.
The bag measures 12 cm by 12 cm
The front is made from vintage embroiderey, and the back is made from a section of an old white tablecloth, with 2 tiny holes to let out the lavender scent.
There is a hook so you can pop it over a clothes hanger, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse. your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
