All items are hand-made using traditional pottery techniques at my home studio in Letchworth Garden City.
Looking for a Gift ? I can post direct to the recipient and include a message from you - just leave a 'note to seller' when purchasing. I will usually dispatch items within 24hrs and send you an email with the receipt and tracking number. All items will be gift wrapped in cream tissue, under lots of protective packaging, and sent by Royal Mail TRACKED48.
I wanted to make something christmas-y - but without too much glitz. Something that you could live with all year round if you wanted to. So I started experimenting by throwing a cylinder shaped pot, and then experimented with cutting out reindeer shapes using a scalpel when the clay was leather-hard. Leaving the reindeer standing in a square shaped opening looked the best - calm and dignified. More 'Monarch of the Glen' than 'Rudolph'.

Finished in a matt light brown glaze.
