I enjoy trying different designs on these copper shapes, the unpredictability of the fusing process and also of the patination is quite exciting. All of the copper pendants are unique as I can never completely repeat the exact design.

Full description
Copper circular pendant with silver fused to it. The pendant is approximately 2.5cm across and has a recurved flash of silver across it. It has been slightly reheated after cleaning to give a multicoloured patina on the copper. The silver still shows itself to be wire but has pools of melted silver around it, and has fractured into beads in places. I call it Trajectory because it makes me think of a spaceship flying over the surface of a planet, leaving plumes behind it. The circle is domed slightly to give it a more interesting shape. The pendant has a small pierced tag at the top and a jump ring is attached to this,Silver, it hangs from a fine, red cotton cord which is adjustable for length by means of two sliding knots, maximum length approximately 65cms.
