I bought a bag of scrap silver from my precious metal supplier, included in it were two or three offcuts of silver sheet. I really liked the shapes and decided to try fusing pure silver wire to it. Having fused silver to copper for a while I thought that it might work with silver to silver, pure silver melts at a lower temperature than sterling and as the wire was quite fine I was hopeful. I'm pleased with the effects I obtained with this experiment. soldering the tube to the back was a nerve wracking experience as the tiny tube could easily collapse and melt rather than soldering to the pendant.
