I love to find these Scandi tablecloths at car boots. They have a strong Folk Art style, with this happy couple in their bright national dress. There is a similar pouch to this one in my shop right now.

Full description
This bright and breezy pouch or make up bag is perfect for storing small amounts of cosmetics and money, or for keeping your headphones tangle free. It is upcycled from a lovely old vintage Danish tablecloth which I bought from a table top sale in York. The fabric is old, and has some tiny white flecks on the surface consistent with its wear, but is still a pretty pouch. There is a happy couple in regional dress from Fyn in Denmark on the front, drawn in a Folk Art style. It would make a great gift for a vintage textile lover, or, with this adorable couple, as a nice anniversary or wedding gift

The fabric is backed onto canvas, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures approx 17 cm by 17 cm and closes with a 17 cm white zip.
The front has a print of a couple in regional dress, and the print on the back is a spray of flowers.
The lining is a bold cotton print .
There is a hook to twirl around your finger, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please note,there are some tiny white flecks on the fabric surface,consistent with its age.You can spot them in the photos.
I like to reuse. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class.
