Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

It so hard for me to walk past these vintage linens at car boots and charity shops. I think they are beginning to be valued once again. Often so beautifully worked, it is lovely to see them reused and appreciated one more time.

Full description
This sweet little zip up bag is designed around the corner of a vintage tablecloth.The front is a lovely hand embroidered floral spray, which I like to think are hollyhocks. Perfect as a pretty make up or cosmetics bag, it would also make a dainty Summer clutch or purse. You could hang this little bag up anywhere, simply to admire the vintage embroidery in its own right. What a lovely present this would make for a vintage fabric lover, to take to a Summer wedding, or for a friend needing a virtual hug right now.
The embroidery has been stitched onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 16 cm by 16 cm with a bottle green zip opening of 16 cm.
The front is made of vintage embroidered linen with 3 tiny buttons, and the back is made from blue recycled denim, to give it some edge.
The lining is a pretty blue floral cotton, and the bag is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
You can use the finger hook for twirling, or to hang up your little bag as a piece of craft work to admire.
I like to reuse when I can. Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging from my hoard, and sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.
