This sweet little bucket bag is made from a beautiful 1980's glazed cotton vintage print, its sumptuous carnations in dark pinks and maroons giving it a traditional English country house look. It has a little gold magnetic clasp on the facing to keep it shut, as well as that classic 1980's fastening, the covered button and loop. This cute little bag is dinky enough to hold your essentials on a Summers walk, or for storing precious mementos.
There are no flaws or experiments in this bag! Just a little summer bag that is an end of line sale price.

The vintage fabric has been backed onto canvas to strengthen it, but it is still soft.
It measures approx 25 cm across, and approx 23 cm down.
There is a facing around the top to give it a professional finish.
There is a tuck at each end, making a 6 cm wide base, and it has two short handles measuring 32 cm each.
It closes with a gold metal magnetic snap fastening, as well as a button and loop closure.
The front and back are made from different sections of the same fabric, and it is lined with Anna French vintage cotton, and finished with my own embroidered name tag.

I like to reuse where possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class .

I was given a wonderful set of vintage fabric samples from the late 1980's and early 1990's by a friend, gosh, some 10 years ago now. A decade on, I have just decided I love them! Designed by GP and J Baker, their jewel like colours and country house style are so evocative of that period.
this little Summer bag has gone into my end of line sale in Seconds Sunday.
