Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

It so hard for me to walk past these vintage linens at car boots and charity shops. Often so beautifully worked, they call out to me to be reused, and appreciated once again. Sometimes just a corner will make up into the sweetest little bag.

Full description
This sweet zip up bag is made from a section of a pretty vintage tablecloth in softly crumpled linen. The front design is a lovely old hand embroidered circlet of bright spring flowers, perfect as a little makeup or cosmetics bag. The back is made from a different section of the same vintage tablecloth and features a covered button and vintage button. It would make a great present for a vintage lover, to give a virtual hug to someone, or as a present for Mum.
The embroidery has been stitched onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 15 cm by 12 cm with a purple zip opening of 15 cm.
The front is vintage embroidered linen and the back has two buttons for decoration.
The lining is a bold black and pink geometric floral cotton, and the bag is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
You can use the finger hook for twirling, or to hang up your little bag as a piece of craft work in its own right.
I like to reuse when I can. Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging, and sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.
