This little tablecloth linen lavender bag shows its history. Its soft and faded embroidery points to many washes and launderings over time. I love to use all the fragments of the vintage textiles I find, and lavender bags are perfect for that.

Full description
This pretty lavender bag is made from the corner of a vintage tablecloth. The embroidery is soft and faded from countless washes, and it is filled with dried lavender from The Yorkshire Lavender Farm in Terrington. Since ancient times the lovely lavender has been used to aid sleep, keep clothes smelling fresh, and to keep away pesky moths. This pretty vintage embroidery features 3 stems of harebells on the front with two tiny buttons, and a little bunch of pink flowers on the back. Perfect to store in a drawer with a bridal gown, as a present for Mum, or a housewarming gift.
This little bag measures 9 cm by 9 cm
Inside is nestling a tiny muslin pillow filled with English lavender from North Yorkshire.
There is a practical hook for popping onto a clothes hanger or hanging up in a bedroom, to keep the air sweet.
The front and back are made from two sections of vintage embroidery, and create a different design front and back.
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Just squeeze gently from time to time to refresh your lavender scent.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your little bag will be posted out to you wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting.
