Full description
This pretty lavender bag is made from the corner of a care worn but sweet vintage tablecloth. Its pretty green leaves and flowers are a fragment of vintage embroidery, washed and gently faded to soft pastel colours. It is filled with dried lavender from The Yorkshire Lavender Farm in Terrington.
For centuries, the lovely lavender has been used to aid sleep, keep clothes smelling fresh, and deter those pesky moths. This pretty vintage embroidery features a little bunch of wild flowers to the front and a scatter of tiny buttons, whilst the back features two stems of bluebells. Lovely to store in a drawer with a bridal gown, as a present for a bridesmaid, or a housewarming gift.
This little bag measures 9 cm by 9 cm
Inside is nestling a tiny muslin pillow filled with English lavender from North Yorkshire.
There is a practical hook for popping onto a clothes hanger or hanging up in a bedroom, to keep the air sweet.
The front and back are made from different sections of vintage embroidery, and create a different design front and back.
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Just squeeze gently from time to time to refresh your lavender scent.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your little bag will be posted out to you wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting.
