Sob, sob, I never thought I would get to see the end of this beautiful tablecloth, but today is the day! Although this has a Folk Art look, it also has a Middle Eastern feel as well. When I was given it, it was in a bit of a sorry state, but some Textile TLC brought it back to life. I wonder which talented needlewoman worked this piece of linen? Was it in York? or somewhere far from here?
