The pendant was made last year but the enamel was added in January. I visit a craft hotel every January and I take advantage of their enamelling class to add some to these copper and silver pieces. I enjoy making these copper and silver pieces as they make a nice contrast to the very meticulous beadwork I use for my other jewellery. It's fun using a blowtorch to fuse the silver to the copper, it's quite unpredictable, sometimes I get just what I was expecting other times it does something completely unexpected. I'm particularly pleased with this one.

Full description
A heart shaped copper pendant, with silver wire fused to it's surface, turquoise enamel has been added after the silver is fused to the copper. The silver takes a loose curve from the bottom to the upper right edge of the heart and the enamel fills most of the space below it.
The heart has been slightly curved and hangs by a copper jump ring from a light grey, fine leather thong with fastened with sliding knots to allow the length to be altered.
