I made a few of these a while ago, starting with a long hollow shell someone gave me, it struck me that the hollow in the shell was wasted if I just closed it up as usual. I found the locket frames on a website which solved the problem for me. I found this lovely purplish shell recently so I decided to make another one. The others have always had very simple edges but I decided this time to go for the full stranded fringe.
