I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). These stripey drop earrings features colourful surfite which has been bezel set in sterling silver and they have been completed with safety hooks (also sterling silver). The surfite has vibrant bands in shades of pale blue, white, red and translucent with a hint of blue, they remind me of the sails on boats. The earrings are open backed to allow light to pass through the translucent bands and have been given a matte finish rather than a high shine. Safety hooks have an extra arm at the back for the hook to fit into, this means they cannot be knocked out of your ears by scarves or if they become tangled in your hair.
Surfite is also know as surf stone and is layers of waste resin that builds up when surf boards are being made which means that a) there are some really bright surf boards out there and b) its a great gift for any surfer. I cut and polish this material myself (you can see the slab of rough in the back ground of one of the photos, its not included in the sale) so if you want something different or have your own surfite from having a board custom made then drop me a message and have me make you something extra special.
Measures 46 mm top to bottom (including hook) by 15mm across, comes in a sleek black box.
