This lovely old art deco tablecloth had seen better days. Tired and frayed, I brought it back to life with washing, lining and stitching. Now it has a pretty and practical use once more.

Yellow floral vintage embroidery make up bag, toiletries bag, or clutch bag.
This beautiful vintage hand sewn embroidery has an art deco feel, with its brown and green swirls edging the flowers which sweep over this linen. Perfect as a summer holiday clutch, for storing toiletries, or for keeping precious keepsakes safe. It would make a great present for an embroiderer, a lover of textiles or an art deco fan.
The embroidery has been stitched onto canvas to give it some body.
The back and front are two different sections of the same tablecloth.
It measures 21 cm across, widening slightly to 23 cm.
It measures 16 cm down.
There is a tuck at each end which gives it a base of 4cm wide.
There is a 22cm dark brown zip with a flower head pull.
It is lined with a dark brown poly cotton.
It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Wash gently in cool water and dry on the line. Iron when slightly damp.
As this is an old hand embroidered piece of cloth, the stitching and its quality will vary, with some ares a little more fragile than others.
I like to reuse where possible. Your little bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging.
It will be sent as Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting. This takes about 3 working days.
