This little vintage linen coaster with its tiny embroidery of a crinoline lady was too good to stand a mug of coffee on. It has been lovingly transformed into a pretty pouch full of Yorkshire lavender.

Lavender bag full of dried Yorkshire lavender, in a vintage embroidery linen pouch.
Ah, lavender, the ancient remedy for refreshing sleep and linens. This pretty vintage coaster with its sweet embroidery of a crinoline lady will freshen up a drawer of vintage linen, your clothes, or a wedding trousseau. Or, pop it under your pillow to aid a good night’s sleep. The back has been made from the corner of a vintage tray cloth with a pulled thread work design, to help waft the lovely scent out. It would make a lovely present for a bride to be, a textile lover or an embroiderer.
The pouch measures 14cm x 14cm.
The front is covered in an embroidery design.
The back has an open weave design made of the corner of a vintage tray cloth and has my own embroidered name tag stitched on.
Inside is a little muslin cushion full of Lavender from The Terrington Lavender Farm in North Yorkshire.
I like to recycle where possible. Your little bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be sent as Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting. This takes approx. 3 working days.
