Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I love finding these old vintage embroideries, especially ones such as these, which are more like illustrations, than simply floral designs. They are often undervalued, and I like to give them some TLC, and send them on their way again, as a practical little bag.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A matching pair of vintage embroidered purses, a crinoline lady and her dovecot.
This pretty pair of matching bags or purses belong together. I can’t bear to split them up.
One purse is illustrated with a vintage embroidery crinoline lady, the other with her quaint thatched dovecot or bird table. They would make a lovely present for a textile lover or embroiderer, and could be hung up on show as a little piece of art work in their own right.
The fronts of the purses have been stitched onto soft cotton to give them some strength.
They measure 16 cm across
They measure 14 cm down.
They each have a beige zip opening measuring 16cm.
They are backed with blue denim to give them a bit of edge, and some body.
The bird bath has an orange cotton lining, and the crinoline lady a grey polka dot one.
They are finished off with my own embroidered name tag.

I like to recycle where possible. Your bags will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
They will be posted out as signed for Royal Mail 2nd class, which takes approx. 3 working days, and will require a signature.
