Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

Handblocked vintage Indian fabric across your body bag.
Deep breath, and smell the patchouli oil. This across your body bag is made from a lovely vintage Indian hand blocked print. So reminiscent of the 1970s, and being re-loved again today, for its use of colour and craftsmanship.
This is a soft and lightweight bag, perfect for rolling up and taking on travels or slouching on the beach. It is designed to be worn with the strap across the body. Its unusual colour combination means it still looks cool today.
The fabric is light weight cotton, and the bag is lined throughout with the same fabric, making it two lightweight layers.
It measures 34cm across its widest point.
It tapers to 30cm at its narrowest point.
From the lowest part of the scoop to the base, it measures 32cm.
There is a tuck at either end, forming a base of 4 cm wide.
The actual length of the strap is 118 cm, but taking into account the scoop design, it feels like 130 cm.
There is an old softly worn leather button and loop closure on the front.
The bag is finished off with one of my embroidered name tags.
These fabrics always hold a lot of dye, so please wash separately in cool water and line dry.

I like to reuse as much as possible. Your bag will be posted out using clean, re-cycled packaging.
It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class, with certificate of posting. This takes about 3 working days. Let me know if you need it sooner and want an upgrade!
