Vintage embroidery large purse or toiletries bag with rose design
Here is a lovely hand embroidered fragment from an old and damaged tablecloth. It has a pretty rose and flowers design scattered over the surface, as well as the geometric “tile” designs in the corner.
This little bag would be brilliant for keeping cosmetics or toiletries safe, but it would also be perfect for storing mementos or keepsakes. It can be hung up by its hook as a little piece of art work in its own right.
It measures 22cm at the top edge, widening slightly towards the bottom
It measures 16 cm deep
There is a maroon zip opening measuring 22cm wide
The tuck at the base is 4cm wide
There is a hook to the right hand side top corner
The zip is finished off with a grey silky pull with an embroidered flower head
It is lined with a 1980’s green patterned cotton
The back is made from blue recycled denim which gives it some body
It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag
I like to recycle where possible. Your little bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
