What an unusual design to find on a piece of embroidery. This little piece definitely needed the chance to be saved, and live out its days as this pretty drawstring bag.

Vintage embroidery drawstring bag with swans design.
This is a sweet remnant from a damaged tablecloth. Hand embroidered swans and waterlilies swim over the surface of this pretty little drawstring bag.
Perfect for storing keepsakes, tights or scarves; or simply hanging up to admire it as a piece of craft in its own right.
The bag measures 23cm across
It measures 26 cm long
The back is made from old skool black and white striped ticking
There is a grey silky cord drawstring
The drawstring ends are finished with two embroidered flower heads
The inside is lined with a pale gold silky lining
My own embroidered label is stitched onto the back
