As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

These florals are unusually bright and bold, unlike most of the others in my collection which are pastel. Very often they are frayed, tea stained and threadbare. Even so, I can’t bear to throw them away. Covering buttons is my way of extending the life of these little treasures, and of the work of the anonymous embroiderers.

Three extra large buttons covered with vintage hand sewn embroidery. Mothers’ Day gift.
These jumbo size metal buttons are covered in hand sewn vintage embroidery. Tiny fragments of homemade table linen, which have been rescued, and given a new life and purpose.
Excellent for sewing onto bags or accessories as a statement, decorative feature .They would make a great present for a textile lover or as a Mothers’ Day gift.
There are three buttons made from metal in this pack, covered in fabric.
Each is covered with a different section from an old hand embroidered tray cloth. They are designed to stitch in a row, as together they make up the bottom, middle and top sections of a flowering plant. The colours are unusual, as they stray away from the traditional pastels. They are red and black.
Each button measures 4cm in diameter
They will arrive packaged in clean, pretty, recycled wrapping.
They will be posted out to you as Royal Mail 2nd class, with proof of posting.
