Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I love this fabric, and if I ever spy a corner of it poking out at a car boot, jumble sale or charity shop, I am powerless to walk by.
It has a strong 1970’s design and colourway, which makes it one of those classics which still look fresh today. It also makes up into great bags. There are two different sizes in my shop to choose from.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Vintage Liberty fabric shoulder bag.
The scooped out design of this practical shoulder bag gives a neat fit under your arm, as well as plenty of room inside.
It is made from that classic vintage furnishing fabric Cottage Garden, and was designed in the 1970s by Collier/Campbell.
Today, its wonderful Autumnal colourway and strong design, give it a contemporary look.
The fabric is first sewn onto canvas to give it strength and stability.
The lining is made from old school black and white striped ticking, and finished with a facing.
There is an internal pocket, perfect for your phone or keys.
A gold magnetic snap fastening keeps your belongings safe inside.
My little embroidered tag at the corner finishes it off.
The bag measures 34 cm across at its widest point, tapering to 30 cm at its narrowest
From the lowest part of the scoop, it measures 32 cm to the base
The base is 4cm wide
Taking into account the scooped design, the shoulder strap is about 70 cm long.
This bag was handmade by myself, from one of my own designs. I make them up one by one, and so be aware that the placement of the pattern design will vary from bag to bag. Same wonderful fabric though.
I like to re-use where possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, reused packaging.
It will be posted out to you by Royal Mail 2nd class signed for, and will require a signature.
