I love this stitch, as it lends itself to a wonderful backdrop to all my knitted flowers and at this moment in time my borders are a riot of colour all due to the alliums, so it seemed an obvious combination.

Full description
A hand knitted trellis stitch hot water bottle cover with a lavender coloured knitted allium flower sewn on the front.
I have used my signature trellis stitch to make this hot water bottle cover. Knitting the neck and bottom edges in a rib for a snug fit.
The back opening is bound in a matching lavender coloured crochet row.
The lavender allium flower has 2 green leaves.
