Hand knitted solutions to everyday needs are inspired by the flowers in my garden and the colours of the coastal Suffolk village where I live. The time forgotten 'make-do-and-mend' approach shapes my designs for a simpler life.
My Nanna taught me to knit on needles when I was still in primary school, and I owned my first sewing machine before I was 10 years old. These foundations took me on a path to a BSc(Hons) in Textile and Knitwear Technology.
So is my house full of my creations? Well, yes it is. It's what makes it home.
Every day I remind myself that; Everything can be improved with a knitted flower, a cup of tea and a large slice of carrot cake!
