Item details

Water-based black, matte ink print on white 140gsm paper, hand-hand pressed with a spoon and touched up by hand also to give it a consistent tone all over. Colour is painted by hand in a lustrous, metallic acrylic paint.
(Watermark only included to protect the online image, the print will only have edition number, title if needed and it will be signed by myself.)
On the back will be a description of the legend below.

Size of the image is approx. 15 x 7.5 cm
Size of the mount is approx. 21.5 x 14.5 cm

Limited edition of 25 prints in each colour of this design, also available in plain white, gold, purple, olive, teal, orange and turquoise. Delivered mounted and wrapped in cellophane.

All UK-bound items are sent 1st class delivery, signed for. Please contact me if you would prefer another method. All overseas-bound items are standard delivery, again, if you wish to have it tracked, please contact me and I will sort this out, please expect a higher postage cost for this.

To care for you print, please keep it out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.

I absolutely love the oddities you can find in the margins of medieval manuscripts, the monsters, the shenanigans of animals and snails being used to joust and those "oh myyyyyyy" moments of those who have devoted their lives to religious servitude. I also love the golds, and the looks of initials, highly decorated often with stories of their own. Mixed with a Celtic feel, this beastie has emerged from these sorts of manuscripts and is available in many colours. If you would prefer one of the others (plain white, teal, turquoise, olive, orange, gold or purple) please let me know, I might just have not got around to relisting!
