Bringing back some of the designs I created for the Cornish Culture Association, May Horns being the May tradition in Penzance of tooting horns to drive off the Devil of Winter, and where Old Ned the Raven King is resurrected by the blasting of horns at each fall he takes. Allantide is the Cornish Hallowe'en which features many traditions involving allan apples, from divination to preventing wax landing on participants faces as they try to bite into hanging apples that are suspended from a cross with candles lit on each of the 4 arms.
