This nuno felted scarf has been made using a blend of red and pink merino wool and bleached tussah silk on a red silk chiffon base fabric. The scarf has been felted on both sides using an extremely fine layer of wool maintaining the sheer nature of the silk chiffon. The underlying silk has a variation in colour from red to white and back to red along its length which is reflected in the final scarf. A spiral pattern using white silk fibres has been added to one side prior to felting.
The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight. It measures approximately 120cm x 36cm (47"x 14") and drapes beautifully around the neck.
The scarf is provided wrapped in floral tissue paper. An upgrade for a kraft card presentation gift box is available as a separate listing in my shop.
Hand wash in warm water, do not machine wash or tumble dry.
