Full description

Caught having a quiet nap. This sleeping fox model has been sculpted with a needle felting technique. The basic shape has been formed using white woollen fibres felted with a barbed felting needle. The fox is then "painted" using coloured woollen fibres added as a top coat. His legs and bushy tail have been made over a wire former and attached to the body along with the ears. Horse hair whiskers have been added. The fox has then been mounted on a wooden rectangle covered in artificial grass.

This fox model, as posed, measures approximately 13cm(long) x 13cm(deep) x 7.5cm (high). The mount is a 15cm x 10cm rectangle.

Please note: this fox is an ornamental item, it is not intended as a toy. Whilst it is fairly robust it will not withstand rough handling and it contains wire and fine woollen fibres that could represent a hazard to young children.
