This is a unique original drawing, a head and shoulders portrait of a deer at the start of the season, his antlers still covered in velvet. With his head held high on a strong neck, and his antlers filing the page, this is a striking composition showing a haughty-looking stag approaching his full prime, ready to impress the female deer and raise a new family.
Using artist-quality coloured pencils on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 14” wide by 18” tall (image size 10” by 14”) - that’s approximately 35 by 45 (25 by 35) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame.
High quality art prints of this picture are also available in my Folksy shop: https://folksy.com/items/4472851-Deer-Stag-Fine-Art-Print
Please note: actual colours may be slightly different from how they appear on your screen due to individual screen settings.
